Summer fun

•  we had some outside fun about 2 weekends ago when the weather took a turn for the better and it was HOT out. We put our hair up and got out the bubbles, the firetruck that sprays water, the bikes, big wheels, chalk, scooters, you name it!

 so after a long weekend last weekend, we took saturday and hit up four parks and then toured the marsh education area near town. it was a perfect day out on saturday. Above is my youngest of course without his shoes. He will NEVER keep his shoes on.

 This little park we go to has this bridge my kids love to run across. I love this picture because the older two look deep in conversation as my youngest now has shoes on and continues running around like nutso.

 The two boys at the marsh after we took a short break. Yes I dress these two alike, because they both like the same things(mario bros) and I can't match anyone to Bella as the boys refuse to wear pink or ruffles.

 Look out the "telescope" into the marsh . This was one of their favorite activities of all three kids.

we even made crafts for earth day which was right up the girlys alley. She loves herself some crafts.

our update, I know its been a while!

The above picture is today, obviously. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday. We went to Grandmas house(my mom and dad's house) for Easter lunch consisting of Ham and lots of yummy other things...we were all so full of good food! And then we did an easter egg hunt in the yard while the sun was out and it was beautiful. Although I have to say its NOT beautiful out now. Nope. Its super windy and overcast now. Booo weather. We did our yearly Easter picture. It is always fun to see how children do NOT cooperate. These remember are not all my children.

My two boys are obviously having a very serious game of Mario. This is how I often find them.

Last but not least, Bella turned FIVE just recently. She's really excited to be five, however she does believe this means she must mother everyone...and by "mothering" I nicely mean boss even more...Because obviously being the only girl out of the bunch of boys in this house, she must be in control at all times.

sick day

That's right folks.

Yesterday being Friday, we got this huge snowstorm. Well actually not as big as they predicted but still. We've had an usually mild winter here in Wisconsin *quietly knocks on wood* and I"m loving it. So it was my scheduled day off and being a snow storm was coming our way, I ran to the grocery store and came home to wait it out with my family.
Then my tooth started hurting. I've had a bad tooth for over a year or so now. More than that actually. I broke it off(ok 75% of it) eating doritos way back when. it didn't really hurt when it broke. Its been breaking off in pieces since. Why haven't I gone to the dentist like an adult? Duh , obviously because I'm so TERRIFIED of the dentist. So back to the tooth at hand...buahahah I crack myself up. The tooth was hurting, the snow was blowing, along with the wind and there was no way I was going anywhere to do anything about it. Last night it was getting worse. This morning I woke up to a very sore tooth and mouth. Like to the point where if I sat up in bed, my face felt like it was going to pop off.

I called into work.
I"m not a "calling into work" type gal.
My husband and I dropped the kids off at my father in laws house and he took me to urgent care. Urgent care said I have an abcess. Which involves antibiotics and pain killers.
The tooth stays quiet if I feed it pain killers. I can actually function and do normal things like eat and swallow while on said pain killers. Though I feel a bit funny while doing so.As soon as the pain killers wear off a teeny bit, my tooth reminds me that it hates me and starts hurting very quickly.

Tomorrow I"m going back to work. The doc only gave me an excuse for one day. Which is fine really, its just that its not quite legal to drive while on pain killers or work while on pain killers. Work is going to be enjoyable(sarcasm inserted here).

And hopefully I sleep on painkillers. This kind usually wires me for sound.

where has the time gone?

I'm a bad blogger really.

Its almost the end of February and I haven't done anything significant here or posted since the beginning of the month.

I"ve been working alot. Doing some overtime as well.

The children, the mini world dominators have been doing well. School is going well for both the older two. Bella has her first all day class trip coming up this week. Jace is on multiplication tables.

We're still working on potty training. ...in other words...its not going so well.

Work just has me exhausted.

ramblings of sort

Well "santa" aka my father in law, left these "watch me grow" things for my kids this past christmas and one night this past month we put them in water and waited for them to grow.
Some did...not that big because apparently they are like goldfish and only grow as big as the container..and others didn't grow at all. And afterwards, they turned slimy. I hate slimy things. And being as I hate them, I forgot to take a picture of them afterwards... Winner right?lol
