for you're the sun that breaks the storm

I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh

Hey its JUNE!

I thought I"d write an update for once instead of just posting pictures because I'm assuming (foolishly of course) that *some* people check this and see whats going on in our lives.

J our oldest is getting ready to end first grade. As some of you may know he was diagnosed with Austism spectrum, most likely aspergers so we've hit a few bumps in the road this year. His teacher is a wonderful wonderful lady, and I never thought I"d like anyone more than his kindergarten teacher Mrs B. We have done our IEP and BIP and we have the most awesome advocate for him as well who helps us and really is our god send. She has help me retract my claws more times than I can count on things and seems to get the job done with complete faith in the system. Which I seem to have none. So hopefully our summer goes well.

B our middle child is spirited as ever. She's now completely potty trained mostly thanks to my mom who just helped nudge her along the way completely. She would stay dry most days but then the next minute she'd just be wet again. So it's nice only having ONE in diapers. She's also very much into shoes or boots of any kind. You never quite know what foot wear she will be wearing from day to day. Today it was rainboots with her girly dress.

J our youngest right now has an ear infection , and our usually happy go lucky boy isn't so happy. But recently he has taken a trip to the orthopedic specialist after we saw his pediatrician for his 1 year check up. We thought he possibly had some hip issues as his one leg really turned in. Turns out its completely normal and is just really really bow legged and has inward rotation on both legs/knees/ankles, which should self resolve in a few years. I guess they don't do as much as they used to with these things as they used to.

So thats our small update for now. I"ll update with more pics very soon!
